WW2 German Nazi RARE MAKER iron cross second class medal award by 13 - gustav brehmer

Iron Cross 2nd Class, EKII (Eisernes Kreuz). 1939 pattern, Gustav Brehmer (13) die struck, three piece construction. The typical front-facing side features an embossed, high relief swastika with the “1939” date below it. The reverse shows the date, “1813”.

The overall condition of this example is excellent, with over 99% of the black finish retained on both sides! The outer mirror finish trim shows some wear, mainly to the outermost edges. As is typical with First Class Iron Crosses, the maker mark is stamped into the rim, identifying this cross as being manufactured by Gustav Brehmer (13).
