Original German WWII Model 1933 M33 Waffen SS Dagger by Gottlieb Hammesfahr & Co. chromed
the dagger is 100% all original parts but the blade, the crossguards and the scabbard were polished chrome.
some anodized yellowish colour is remain on the crossguards though.
rare maker, early SS daggers increase a lot of value every year and they are getting really hard to get !

the lower crossguard with a district number comes from a SA number but as the patina is the same for both crossguards and shows a long time oxidation, this part was changed war period or just after the war.
overall VG++ condition, rare maker !

- grip fits perfectly to the crossguards
- chain is magnetic with the D.R.G.M marks on the loop, near mint condition!
the SS runes marks on the back are are fats - the reverse have angle cuts - square ends of cutouts which looks like a type 1 chain
- the grip have some surface scratches
- the scabbard is anodized with a 2 screw assembly like the type 1 are supposed to be.
a M36 chained dagger is made with early M33 parts.
