WW2 German Nazi WAFFEN SS M32 combat cap without insignias attic found

During the west battle in 1944...
when the ss soldiers were tracked, many were hidden in attics and barns and they removed everything on them that identified them as SS cause the allies had the order to shoot on sight for the SS only...

this was found in Normandie...

an amazing piece of history !!

IMAGINE A WAFFEN SS TOTENKOPF SOLDIER IN A BUNKER, WAITING FOR THE USA BOATS TO ARRIVE.

WITH HIS MACHINE GUN...

THEN HE GOT KILLED, PROBABLY PUT ON FIRE BY THE USA SOLDIERS WHO WAS ABLE TO GET TO THE BUNKERS...

THIS RING WAS FOUND IN ONE OF THESE BUNKERS IN THE 80S...

IT'S WRITTEN WESTFRONT ON IT
