blade is good size, scabbard fits well.

i am pretty sure that the wooden grip was replaced, maybe it's period replacement, we will never know
but it was replaced with an original grip.
i think that because we can see that the grip doesn't fit perfectly to the crossguard.
it's a minor bug but the price is lowered considering this.
an untouched early SS dagger from that maker is over 3500$ easy and increase every year.
*that dagger cannot be used on the 10% off or 20% off promotion...
