RARE NSKK Chained Officer leader Dagger by Emil Voss RZM m 7/2

Rare dagger maker Emil Voos, Solingen. The wooden grip is a nice piece of wood. The SA runes button is nicely placed and retains all of it’s enamel. The anodized grip eagle fits tight and has nice detail. The crossguards and tang nut are nickel plated with a small loss of plating on the lower crossguard edges. They were probably cleaned a long time ago as they have less of the yellowish colour than the scabbard.
The blade is a fine, bright example with all the original crossgrain, with some small minor aging spots and a few tiny nicks on the upper blade edge. The SA Motto is crisp. The reverse ricasso is etched with a double RZM circle atop the Emil Voss code, “M 7/2”. The scabbard shell is straight and with all its original paint. Mounts are anodized and have a nice patina. The chain is nickel plated steel, RZM marked and NSKK Pattern Protected stamped twice and near mint. Overall an excellent example..
