This 8-1/2 x 11-1/4 inch, 120 page hardcover book was published in 1941 by Chr. Belser Verlag in Stuttgart as a remembrance book of the SS-Totenkopf Division and their battles during the campaign in France in 1940. The book contains only very little text but the excellent photographs, taken by several SS war correspondents, are self-explanatory. Depicted are SS-Totenkopf men in combat, using all kinds of weapons, marching, wounded and even graves of fallen comrades. There are many close-up photos showing the uniforms and equipment of this elite division, making this rare book a must have reference for historians as well as for collectors of SS uniforms, helmets and weapons!
