at liberation, the owner was put in quarantine and a Buchewald patch was added to his tunic and a stamp was added on his shoes with the date of arrival.
he kept them as souvenir and the family, grand son wife, decided that she didnt want this in her home so i bought them

SS-TOTENKOPF CONCENTRATION CAMP COLLAR TAB
Rare black felt collar tab, 1 3/4" x 2 1/4", with letter "K" in Germanic script embroidered in brown thread. This insignia stood for "Konzentrationslager", and identified SS-Totenkopfverband personnel assigned to concentration camps until it was discontinued in 1937. The edges are outlined with braided silver metal and black fabric piping. Fine.

it is stamped 3-4 places with 2 different Auschwitz stamp
from the medical block where Mengele was working. It is 95% from his personal library as it was the only known one in that block.
