IT'S A RELIC FOUND
Italian Fascist Commemorative Medal of the 29th Waffen S.S. Grenadier Division 'Italien'. This unit, also known as the Legione SS Italiana.
Many of its members were recruited into the German Waffen S.S. from the Milizia Armata, an Italian Fascist security unit.
This commemorative medal is die-cast with a patinated bronze finish and has a very striking design which incorporates the Italian S.S. style eagle together with the S.S. runes.
